To develop and support free/open-source applications used for community broadcasting of media over the air and via the Internet. To encourage the use of such software by community stations around the world. To facilitate the formation of networked community stations which share media in order to build friendly links between communities and cultures at any distance. To provide the software,  infrastructure and expertise to encourage broadcasting by organizations of any size.
