Indigenous Community Media Fund
The ICMF provides financial support to strengthen Indigenous community media infrastructure. It aims to ensure the sustainability of Indigenous-managed media, with a focus on initiatives related to environmental justice and climate change. Eligible regions include Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, North America, and specific countries in Asia. Grants offered are up to $8,000 USD for individual media entities and up to $12,000 USD for network proposals involving multiple media groups. The application deadline is January 26, 2025.

This consultation will update the rules radio stations must follow, while the filing of new stations in Canada is on hold. First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and organizations that do not know how to read and write or submit a web form can contact the CRTC’s Indigenous Relations Team for help.
