This release adds significant new features including voice track support (with integrated media recorder) in playlists, a continuously running CLI cron monitor, individual CLI cron task support, module install/uninstall via CLI, and new custom metadata types for coordinates and license, with visibility settings for API privacy. PDF document media types are now supported, a rotate thumbnail feature is introduced, and the preview player is enhanced with on-demand HLS streaming. Other key improvements include non-interactive CLI password changes, creation of dedicated API endpoints for media versions, thumbnails, and previews, improved automatic thumbnail generation, more robust caching, and an upgrade to FontAwesome 6. Numerous fixes address UI and compatibility issues (e.g., preview positioning, Apache server support, and MySQL file updates), permissions, automatic menu closing, JavaScript errors, and PHP warnings, along with enhanced performance and ongoing code refactoring and bug fixes throughout the application.
