Licence exempt and Limited duration broadcasts applications
Completing and submitting ISED Broadcast Certificates and CRTC Exemption forms for licence exempt undertakings and limited duration broadcasts.
There are two parts to operating as licence exempt;
1) Find the proper CRTC Exemption
2) Coordinate with ISED (Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada) for technical compliance
In some circumstances it is possible to legally setup a station for a short period of time, under 28 days max. This can be for events, conferences and festivals.
