OpenBroadcaster‘s web–based automation tools make it easy to decode, receive, and broadcast emergency alerts for radio, television, digital signage, and cable TV channels. The system is capable of accepting broadcast immediate Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) formatted emergency messages via TCP/IP and satellite sources, and is compatible with Pelmorex™ NAAD (National Alert Aggregation and Dissemination System) and other systems. Using OpenBroadcaster‘s “point and click“ interface, users can easily set up and forget about broadcasting CAP emergency messages. The system also supports media asset management and multilingual support with EAS support for international and indigenous languages. Additionally, OpenBroadcaster is designed with a solid state, no moving parts architecture, and a modular structure to fit a range of budgets.
